OPN Flow

Continuous payroll on OPN Chain

Payroll that pays
by the block.

Salaries shouldn't arrive once a month. OPN Flow streams pay every second and lets people withdraw whenever they need it β€” after a shift, before rent, mid-afternoon. No payday, no waiting, no permission.

Why this has never worked before

Payment streaming is an old idea. It has never been usable on Ethereum mainnet for an unglamorous reason: withdrawing costs more than the stream pays. Someone earning $50 a day cannot spend several dollars in gas to collect it, so they withdraw monthly β€” and a "stream" that you touch once a month is just payroll with extra steps.

Ethereum mainnet ~$3–15 per withdrawal Β· ~12s blocks Collecting daily costs more than you earn
OPN Chain ~0.0000000000002 OPN per withdrawal Β· ~1.25s blocks Collect every hour and lose nothing

Gas price read live from the chain below. This is the whole reason OPN Flow is built here: streaming only becomes real when withdrawal is free.

These are real streams on OPN Chain testnet, funded for 30 days. The numbers below are computed from on-chain state and tick every 100 ms β€” no wallet needed to watch.

How it works

  1. Fund it once. The deposit covers the entire term up front, so there is no insolvency, no liquidation, and no moment where the money quietly stops.
  2. It accrues every second. Not every block, not every epoch β€” the balance is a function of the clock.
  3. Withdraw whenever. Anyone can trigger the payment, but funds only ever go to the recipient. An employer can push wages to someone holding no OPN at all.
  4. Either side can stop it. On cancellation the recipient keeps every second already worked β€” including time behind a cliff β€” and the sender gets back only what was never earned.
